RFID-Printed Circuit Boards
The radio frequency identification (RFID) is an automatic data collection system. It basically features the communication between a reader module and the RFID tags with the aid of an electromagnetic field.
RFID tags such as the ones integrated within the Hotoprint PCBs are completely passive systems, i.e. they do not need an additional energy source. They acquire the necessary power wirelessly from the reader module and feature reconfigurable memory, whilst minimum data retention time exceeds 50 years.
