Screen Printing
Markings, via fill, peelable masks and carbon inks are added to the printed circuit board in this process step.Screens with specific mesh in different degrees of fineness are available. How much colour is applied depends on the fineness of the mesh. Different ink systems can be used. Coarse mesh achieves a high ink application (e.g. peelable masks), but cannot feature fine elements such as thin lines or grids.
Such details are printed with fine mesh and a lower level of ink (e.g. for legend printing). Hotoprint produces all screens that are required in-house. This enables us to be very flexible and process jobs promptly.Convential screen printing has its technological limits. For fine structures, we use photosensitive coatings, which are structured in an UV-exposure process. In the screen printing process, Hotoprint relies on the high-quality products from the company Peters.
